1. The Grand Bazaar of Ka'limport

Overview

The Grand Bazaar is the commercial heart of Ka'limport, sprawling across several city districts and bleeding into every alley and courtyard between them. It is not a single market but a living, shifting organism — part permanent storefronts, part seasonal pavilions, part rumour and shadow. The Bazaar is divided into informal quarters, each with its own character, reputation, and dangers.

The Bazaar runs from dawn prayer to midnight bell. Most merchants will negotiate on price — how far they'll go is a matter of relationship, pride, and how well you've done business with them before. Prices listed here are what they'll open with.

A Word of Caution The Bazaar is always loud, always hot, and always smells of at minimum four competing things. Keep your coin purse close. Merchants here assume all outsiders are naive — it is up to you to prove otherwise.
